about nora
hello & welcome!
nora anderson is a women’s health coach, birthkeeper, student herbalist and pregnancy + birth consultant. she will walk with you through this season of life in which you seek guidance or support.
after nine years of practicing as a nurse, nora felt the pull towards another path. she knew she had to step outside of the system to fully actualize her calling—to help women connect to their bodies + spirit through the wisdom of our menstrual cycles and in our rites of passage.
by walking with her, you will be encouraged, witnessed, celebrated & supported as you step into this expanded, more aligned version of your self. nora is dedicated to holding space for doubt + fear, to staying open to curiosities + questions and to reminding you that your power + truth is within.
she is a lover of wildflowers, mountain running, foraging, human connection, rainbows + sun worship, being barefoot, cyclical living, nourishing food, laughter & dancing.
may you find just what you are looking for here.
we are sovereign beings. we have the potential to experience profound joy, love + inner knowing. when we are connected to our bodies//in our power//taking full responsibility for our selves, we realize our connection to the universe. we sense our oneness with nature. we vibrate at a higher frequency.
as women, we are reminded of this as we walk the spiral of our menstrual cycle every month & in our greater life cycles. if your menstrual cycle has become absent due to health conditions or birth control, there is healing to be done, but your cycle remains inherent! it is your unique blueprint. when understood + embodied, we align with our higher selves. we realize we are part of the greater web being woven—expanding and connecting all.
I would love to walk beside you and together weave a wider web.
my inspiration behind Kali womb came when I was traveling alone in India, reading Nawa Yogini Tantra. The author’s description of the Hindu goddess Kali as the embodiment of life’s totality– destruction, creation, evolution–helped me see she is a mirror of our cyclical experience as women. every month we go through this same cycle of creation, destruction & evolution.
ego death comes when we bleed.
each egg of ovulation holds the spark of creation.
and as every cycle fades into the next, we emerge having evolved into a new version of our self.
as the wheel turns we too change, shift, grow & expand. our path as women doesn’t just circle, it spirals –we are never quite the same as before.
every rite of passage also contains the embodiment of Kali.
our first menses.
birth.
menopause.
with this sacred wisdom, we remember how to walk the spiral path of womanhood with reverence, intention and joy.
